Italian research and innovation are paving the way for sodium-ion batteries that are more sustainable and economical than traditional lithium-ion batteries thanks to Orangees . The promising results, presented in Milan during the event “Materials for electrochemical storage in sodium-ion batteries,” lay the foundation for an all-Italian production chain, with positive impacts on domestic self-consumption, network services and, ultimately, electric mobility.
